At Tavdat, we are committed to transparent business practices and ensuring our customers are fully informed before making a purchase. Please review our comprehensive 30-Day Return & Refund Policy, applicable exclusively to our United States customers.
1. 30-Day Return Window
We offer a strict 30-day return policy. You have 30 days from the date your tracking information confirms delivery to request a return or a refund.
2. Return Eligibility & Conditions
To be eligible for a return, the item must meet the following strict conditions:
The item must be in the exact same condition that you received it.
It must be completely unused and show no signs of attempted installation or wear.
It must include all original tags, protective films, and be in its original packaging.
You must provide a receipt or proof of purchase (Order Number).
Items strictly not eligible for return:
Sunshades or any accessories that have been used, modified, or damaged through improper DIY installation, forcing, or misuse.
Minor cosmetic packaging damage that does not affect the functionality of the core product.
3. Fitment & Compatibility Guarantee
As we specialize in Custom Fit Motorized Windshield Sunshades and vehicle-specific accessories, it is the customer's strict responsibility to verify vehicle compatibility (Year, Make, Model, and Trim) before purchasing. * If a product does not fit due to a customer ordering error, it falls under our "Buyer's Remorse" policy. The customer will be fully responsible for all return shipping costs. Tavdat is not responsible for parts ordered incorrectly.
4. Return Process & Shipping Costs
To initiate a return, you must email our official support channel at support@tavdat.com. Do not send your purchase back to the sender's address on the original package. Upon approval, we will provide the authorized US return facility address.
A. Buyer's Remorse / Change of Mind / Incorrect Fitment Ordered If you wish to return an item because you changed your mind, ordered the wrong size/model, or no longer need the product:
Customer Responsibility: You are 100% responsible for paying the return shipping costs to our designated return facility.
We do not provide prepaid return shipping labels for buyer's remorse or fitment errors made by the customer.
We strongly recommend using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance, as we cannot issue refunds for items we do not physically receive.
B. Defective, Damaged, or Incorrect Items Shipped by Tavdat If your item arrived damaged during transit, or if we shipped an incorrect item:
Please contact us within 48 hours of delivery at support@tavdat.com with clear photos or videos demonstrating the defect, damage, or error.
Our Responsibility: Upon verification of the defect or error, Tavdat will either issue a full refund immediately without requiring a return, or we will cover the return shipping costs and provide a prepaid shipping label for a replacement.
5. Restocking Fees
Tavdat does not charge any hidden restocking fees for authorized returns that meet the conditions outlined above.
6. Order Cancellations & Modifications
Cancellations: You may cancel your order for a full, 100% refund without any penalty, provided the order has not yet entered the fulfillment process (typically within 8 hours of purchase).
Shipped Orders: Once an order has been processed or shipped from our warehouse, it can no longer be canceled or modified. You must wait for the item to arrive and proceed with the standard return process.
Modifications: Requests to change a shipping address must be made immediately to support@tavdat.com. We cannot guarantee address changes once the fulfillment process begins.
7. Refund Processing Timeline
Once your return is received and inspected at our facility, we will send you an email to notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If approved, your refund will be processed immediately by our billing department.
A credit will automatically be applied to your original method of payment within 3 to 7 business days.
Note: It may take additional time for your bank or credit card company to officially post the refund to your account.
8. Limitation of Liability for Auto Accessories
While our products are designed for straightforward use, Tavdat strictly assumes no liability for any damage to your vehicle, personal injury, or subsequent loss caused by the installation, removal, or use of our products. Under no circumstances will tavdat reimburse or cover any third-party labor costs, dealership fees, towing expenses, or rental car fees associated with the use or failure of any part, whether the product is defective or not.
